Echo Investment is stepping up efforts to start work on its Jana Pawła plot in Warsaw. The developer is planning an office project for the property, which used to house the old Mercury hotel.
“The talks with the lender to secure financing for our investment are now getting underway. We do not expect to meet any difficulties, as the banks are still willing to give loans to stable developer, for good investments, though the timing for signing the agreement has been delayed recently, so 4-6 months are needed now to close the deal,” said Grzegorz Iwanski from Echo’s finance department.
In addition to Warsaw, Echo said it is looking to boost its office portfolio in the cities of Katowice, Kraków and Gdańsk.
