According to the Polish Statistic Office the operating costs for Polish businesses increased by as much as 9.8, while their revenues rose just 8.2 percent. Meanwhile, the margins for the companies that do business outside the country grew just 0.1 percent in the first half of 2012, reaching the level of 4.8 percent.
“Poland’s economy saw a slowdown during the last few months, especially when it comes to the domestic demand,” said Adam Antoniak from PKO BP. “The poor condition of the Polish labor market resulted in consumption drop. Investment volumes also slipped.”
