The Austrian bank Raiffeisen has agreed to finance the construction of a new thermal power system in Suceava, the city’s mayor, Ion Lungu, announced. The financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
The engineering firm Adrem Invest Bucharest will oversee the project. Once complete, the city’s new thermal power system will run on methane gas in the winter and biomass during in the summer.
