A-K Ltd. won the tender to build Audi’s new 200,000 sqm logistics park in Győr. The Hungarian-based A-K was among 20 firms vying for the project. Construction is scheduled to start next summer and is expected to cost HUF 20 bn. Gyor was the final decision for Audi, which had also considered building around Bratislava, or in nearby Gonyu. Infrastructure developments made by the city of Gyor making possible the logistics expansion by Audi are thought to have been important considerations in the final decision on location.
