The Dambovita Tribunal decided to demolished the Cathedral Plaza construction located in General Berthlot street in Bucharest, because was constructed without legal authorization. The court ruling requires the Bucharest general mayor to issue an order for the Cathedral Plaza building to be brought down.
The Cathedral Plaza project, run by Millennium Building Development, was authorized by the Sector 1 mayor’s office on February 24, 2006. Works began on March 9 that year. As of July 2007, works were halted several times because of the litigation.
