The restaurant chain Subway revealed its expansion plans for the country this week, saying it could be operating 150 restaurants across Poland by the end of 2015. So far, the US network has opened 58 restaurants. “The network’s popularity comes from our brand, that’s now well-recognized across the country, using our proven franchise model,” says Martin Princ, who’s in charge for Subway’s development strategy. “The highly successful entrance into the Romanian market last year proves we’re on the right track,” he adds. So far this year, the restaurant network has grown 38 percent in Poland.
