Car-Inside has closed two of its plants, one in Vas and the other in Zala county, and it will also be reducing the number of its employees. Balázs Csillag, the Hungarian manager of Car-Inside, said this is due to a recent decision of the German owner, Prevent Group. However, manufacturing will continue at the company’s two other Hungarian factories. The reorganizing of production will begin the next week and is planned to be finished by the end of September, with some portions of the company’s output to be transferred to Bosnia Herzegovina. Prevent Group supplies manufacturers such as BMW and others with interior textiles, seat covers, and brake discs.
