The Hungarian plastics company Materiáls Plastik has completed a HUF 464m equipment investment. HUF 100m of the total was provided by the New Széchenyi Plan, while the rest was self-financed. The company specializes in the production of wrapping materials using polyethylene, including merchandise bags, sacks, garbage bags, hoses, plastic foils and shrink foils.
Materiáls Plastic currently employs 60 people, which will be expanded by 5-6 workers. The company exports its products to Austria, Germany and Romania. Materiáls-Plastik was established in 1989, having started as a family business with 4 people. By 2011, its annual revenues reached HUF 2bn.
