Romania’s durable consumer goods continued on its downward trend for a second consecutive quarter, registering a drop of 2.5 percent in Q2 against the first quarter of 2012 and totaling €293m, according to the research company GfK Romania survey.
The electronics and telecommunications segments posted slight increases, while IT and office equipment declined. The largest decrease was recorded for domestic appliances, with “major” appliances showing a double digit-decrease, says GfK.
