Prologis leases 560,000 sqm in H1 2012

10 August 2012

The industrial developer Prologis has seen its leasing activities in CEE grow in the first half of the year to 560,000 sqm. Out of all the CEE countries, Poland has the biggest deal volume, with 66 percent of all agreements signed in the country.
“The most active markets for us in Poland are Upper and Lower Silesia. Our Slovak and Romanian portfolios are currently fully leased. This justifies our decision in the first half of the year to resign from delivering built-to suit projects in secondary and tertiary locations, and focus on the most attractive and strategic location in response to our clients needs,” said Ben Bannatyne, managing director for ProLogis in Central and Eastern Europe.
