MasterCard Europe Sprl by the Hungarian Competition Authority. The charges were pressed because of alleged abuse of market power. MasterCard’s market share is over 75%, with its only competitor is the EC regulated Visa. The charges are expected to be investigated over the next six months, though the process could take a full year to conclude.
