Tudor Dragomir Niculescu, the Turabo coffee chain owner, has closed all 50 outlets of the network, less than three years after becoming one of the first entrepreneurs to enter Romania’s coffee market in. Having produced turnover of €15m in 2008, the company is now believed to be insolvent.
Niculescu claims to have ceased all business operations in Romania, stating that he’d be focusing on foreign markets in the future, but he’s unwilling to provide any details on his future activities.
