MetLife completes acquisition of Hungarian Aviva

The acquisition of the Hungarian subsidiary of the Aviva insurance company was finished by MetLife, a worldwide leader insurance agent worldwide. It is present in more than 50 countries, with around 90 million clients. With the acquisition of Aviva, MetLife becomes the eighth biggest life insurance provider company in Hungary. According to Michel Kalaf, president of MetLife’s CEE subsidiary, the deal provided an ideal expansion opportunity. He added that the company is planning to grow both within Hungary and in other parts of the CEE region.
