Min. of Finace: Floreasca – Barbu Vacarescu offices producing €25m annually

Floreasca – Barbu Vacarescu started down the path of becoming a center of business even before the crisis and is now the backdrop to projects like Euro Tower, Lakeview, Floreasca Business Park (or Floreasca 169A), Nusco Tower and Floreasca Tower.

Currently, these five office buildings totaling approximately 100,000 sqm of offices plus parking and have a cumulative rental income of €25.26m, according to data from the Ministry of Finance.

The highest grossing of these is Floreasca Business Park, of Floreasca 169A, which totals 36,000 sqm, last year had a turnover of €10.58m. The project was developed by Portland Trust, one of the city’s most established office developers. In 2010, it was sold to the NEPI investment fund, for €100m.

The second highest grossing building is Lakeview, owned by AIG/ Lincoln and Dinu Patriciu, as its revenues last year totaled €5.93m.

Nusco Tower and Euro Tower buildings, known as Volksbank and Avon headquarters had similar revenues last year, and also they have almost same surfaces.

Thus, Nusco Tower, with an area of ​​20,000 sqm, recorded a turnover of €3.38m, while Cascade Park Plaza, the company that owns Euro Tower (16,500 sqm), posted a turnover of €3.36m.

The oldest class A building in the Barbu Vacarescu area is Floreasca Tower (7,600 sqm), which produces turnover of €2.01m.
