Electrolux sets up its head CEE office in Poland

30 July 2012

The Swedish home appliance manufacturer Electrolux has moved its head CEE office to Warsaw. “The decision was taken three months ago, and we had just reached the final stage of establishing the regional team. So far, we have 20 people from all the CEE countries,” said Adam Cich, the CEE managing director for Electrolux. The company has 4,200 employees across Poland, with more jobs to be created in the near-term. The company has invested €400m in Poland over the last 10 years and has factories in Zarów, Oława, Świdnica and Siewierz. “We invest where it’s needed, and where it is the most profitable,” said Cich. Electrolux just obtained a construction permit for a new factory in the Wałbrzych area.
