Virgin Mobile plans to enter Poland’s communication market this summer. The company had planned to hit the market six month ago, but work on its new distribution system slowed the process down. Virgin Mobile considers Poland the first step in its expansion plans for the CEE region. “Introducing the mobile network in Poland will provide a platform for growth in Central and Eastern Union,” the company wrote in an official statement. The company plans to have 80,000 units across Poland, mainly in supermarkets and newsstands. Virgin Mobile is based in the UK.
