Romanian pavers manufacturer Symmetrica opened its fifth production unit in Sintereag, a city in Bistrita Nasaud county. The new €2m factory is the second one opened by the company in the past six months, said Sebastian Bobu, managing director of Symmetrica.
Symmetrica hopes to take a 22-percent market share with a projected €16.2m turnover. The new factory can produce up to 2,000 sqm of pavers per day, taking the company’s total production capacity to 11,500 sqm per day.
The production facility covers some 1,500 sqm, including warehouses, offices and a showroom. Work on the site began last autumn. The new factory will serve the northwestern part of Romania, encompassing Bistrita, Maramures,Satu-Mare, Cluj, Mures, Zalau and Oradea counties.
Symmetrica was founded 18 years ago and has since invested more than €18.5m into its five factories.
