The German DIY retailer Praktiker reported a decrease in profits in Romania during the first half of the year. The company brought in €38.9m, down 9.8 percent year-on-year.
The news follows a 10.6-percent loss in sales during the first quarter. Heavy hit by the global recession, Praktiker’s standing on the local market has been on a steady decline since 2008, according to company representatives.
