The Hungarian government signed a strategic partnership agreement with Coca Cola HBC Hungary. A new production line was also started by the Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán in Dunaharaszti, which will boost the company’s export volume as it will be able to produce 1bn bottles per day. The investment is worth HUF 2 bn. Orbán said that he was born into a generation where Coca Cola was considered not only a drink but also a feeling of belonging to the Western world. The aim of the partnership is to preserve the company’s long-term presence in Hungary, to reinforce its role in promoting competitiveness and to expand cooperation with suppliers.
