Westinghouse Electric Co. has established a partnership with the Czech company Vitkovice in order to take part in the potential construction of the Temelín nuclear power plant expansion in the Czech Republic. Vitkovice will join the Westinghouse/Toshiba/Metrostav team for a joint offer in which it would be named the potential producer of structural and mechanical equipment. Generators manufactured in Vítkovice are currently in use in the Czech nuclear plants at Temelín and Dukovany.
