Telecom equipment provider Huawei Romania has rented 42 apartments in the Upground residential complex developed by Greek businessman Ioannis Papalekas on the shore of Tei Lake. The rents start from €500 per month. Homes have been rented for employees and management, most of whom are expats.
The Upground complex is being sought by managers of companies that have headquarters in the area, such as RBS, Addecco Human Resources, and Bancpost.
Upground project was completed in 2011 and comprises 571 apartments, half of which were sold. The rest, at least for now, have been put up for lease and around 150 apartments are currently under contract.
