Linamar opens new unit in Hungary

Linamar Hungary, a manufacturer of agricultural and construction machinery with a growing automotive parts division opened a new 7,600 sqm unit at its Békéscsaba plant. The investment, which is worth HUF 1 bn, started in August, 2010 and is planned to finish this August. CEO János Ivanics told the press that the company invested HUF 7.6 bn in Hungary in order to expand auto parts manufacturing capacity. A new 5,000 sqm unit has already been opened in Orosháza in March.
