Sun Plaza has began legal proceedings to recover debts from furniture retailer Mobexpert due to its store closing, say shopping center representatives. Mobexpert closed the store at Sun Plaza shopping center in violation of its contractual obligations, having run up a large debt.
Sun Plaza Shopping Center was developed by EMCT Romania and S IMMO AG and has a lettable area of 81,000 sqm, with a built area of over 210,000 sqm.
Currently, the mall is 99 percent let, with the most recent store openings being of retailers H&M, LTB, Lee Cooper, Geta Voinea, Nikon and Subway.
