Walter Tosto invests €30m in Bucharest factory

Walter Tosto, an Italian producer of equipment for the oil and gas industry, will invest €30m in its Nuclear Energy Components and Equipments Factory (FECNE) in Bucharest for innovation and professional development, according to the company.

FECNE was bought in 1998 by the Norwegian Kvaerner group and taken over in 2002 by Nuclearmontaj, part of the Tender Group, controlled by the business mogul Ovidiu Tender.

In 2006, FECNE entered liquidation and in 2011 it was acquired by Romenergo. The Italian company Walter Tosto was founded in 1960 by the Italian businessman Walter Tosto and is currently run by the Tosto family.
