Reconstruction turns downtown ruin into 4-star hotel

The Lithuanian developer Europe Group has completed the four-star Europa Royale hotel project heart of Bucharest, roughly six years after purchasing the historic building located near the Hanul lui Manuc Inn.

Following the €12m investment, the hotel owner expects revenues of €1.2m in the first year of operation. The hotel have five floors, a total of 92 rooms, a restaurant and two meeting rooms. The booking fee for a standard double is €90/night, price includes breakfast.

Unirii Square area already offers the Horoscope hotel, a Royal hotel and the four-star NH unit which is now said to be on sale.
