Residential supply on the rise

29 June 2012

Supply on Prague’s residential market has increased by 27 percent, writes Trigema in its latest analysis. The head of the company Marcel Soural foresees a stable market in the second half of the year, with the main trends being an average price reduction of CZK 10,000 per sqm. The size of flats will also fall, but the number of rooms should stay unchanged. Nearly two dozen new projects came on-line in the first half of the 2012, with 2,069 new units. That’s an increase of 27 percent y-o-y. Over the same period, 1,761 flats were sold in Prague, an increase of 11 percent y-o-y.
