Oradea City Hall is building a €6.2m bike track which will run parallel to E60 highway between Romanian city Oradea and Berettydujfalu, a city on the Hungarian side of the border. The total length will be 35,020 meters.
The project will be realized through the Hungary-Romania Cross-Border Co-operation Programme 2007-2013. The track will start from Ferdinand Square and will pass through the villages of Artand, Biharkeresztes, Mezopeterd and Berettydujfalu.
Currently, Oradea’s city hall is preparing a submission to the National Agency for Regulating and Monitoring Public Procurement (NARMPP), while in the autumn, there will be a tender to start the works for the bike track.
