HB Reavis tops out KBC in Mokotów

22 June 2012

The Slovak developer HB Reavis has topped out its first Polish office project, Konstruktorska Business Center, a year after beginning work on the 48,000 sqm GLA project in Warsaw’s Mokotow district.

“Our goal is to be in the top three office developers in Poland in the coming year, Stanislav Frnka, HB Reavis chairman said during the ceremony. “Our successful projects in Slovakia can provide all the funds needed to achieve it,” he added.
The six-storey building by HB Reavis has what’s possibly the largest floor plates of any in Poland at 7,341 sqm. And it appears to be meeting with some success already, with tenants like Otis and Carrier (UTC subsidiaries) taking a combined 2,300 sqm. The companies plan to begin their 10 year leases in April 2013. HB Reavis is also taking space in the building.

“Konstruktorska Business Centre is our first project in Poland. We hope it will become the flagship scheme, both in terms of the quality and the philosophy of the development process,” said Frnka.
