The NewConnect-listed company Balticom, which specializes in technical and logistic support for container traffic, has ended the first quarter of the year with revenues of PLN 19.2m. That’s a 52 percent rise compared to the same period in 2011. Its net profit has increased over the period to PLN 640,000 which is three times what it pocketed for the same period in 2011. Balticom recently signed a agreement with Port Praski Gdańsk on a site where it plans to build a new composite and container workshop. “The investment will cost a total of PLN 1.03m,” revealed Tomasz Szmid, head of Balticom.
