Architects chosen to work on Prague’s Metropolitan plan

18 June 2012

Architect Roman Koucký will lead a team of urbanists working on the so-called Metropolitan plan – a new Prague master plan, approved by the Prague City Council last week. The team will be working with the Prague Development Institute, an organization governed by the City of Prague. A city advisory committee will be also established with the aim of re-assessing the 200 recommended changes to the existing master plan proposal. Architects and city planners such as Zdeněk Jiran, Jan Sedlák, Petr Hlaváček, Petr Hnilička and Jakub Fišer will be entrusted with the advisory work, but the city assembly will have the final say in approving the changes.
