Ziarul Financiar reports that development is taking off in Bucharest’s Aviatorilor Square, with four projects underway in what is one of the city’s high-end districts. Radu Dimofte, the partner of Gabriel Popoviciu in the Baneasa project and other businesses, is behind one of them – an office building on Aviatorilor Boulevard, located near Bank Leumi.
The paper reports that a legal firm is behind the construction of another four-floor building on the same street, while Dragos Dobrescu (who controls the Monolit group) is building near Marfin Bank. Finally an Israeli group has re-started work on an office building in the Dorobanti area.
The paper writes that along with the Floreasca – Barbu Cavarescu area, the Aviatorilor and Herastrau districts are also attracting significant investment now.
