The Japanese consumer electronics giant Sony is relocating its Budapest headquarters to the Óbuda Gate office building. They also plan a full upgrade of the new space this year. Kata Mazsaroff, head of tenant representation at Colliers International says that Sony will rent 1,200 sqm in the building. Óbuda Gate is an A-category office built in 2001, designed by Lajos Horváth, winner of the most prestigious Ybl Award. He won the ’Property Award 2002-Prize for the best office building’ and Pro Architecture’s award as well for designing the building.
