Chinese seek to open new business in Poland

The Chinese giant Nuctech is looking for a place to open a new factory in Poland. This would be its second in the country, and is expected to add up to 300 jobs the local labor market. “At this point, three location are under consideration, with the city of Chełm being confirmed,” said Józef Górny, vice-president of Chełm. ”We have proposed a few plots, some of which belong to the city, some to private owners. If Nuctech decides to begin the investment, we can add the land to the region’s Special Economic Zone,” he said. Nuctech provides components for devices used on border crossings for scanning vehicles and containers, and it controls 60 percent of the global market in these items.
