The underground parking at the Universitate Square will be open on July 20, announced Sorin Oprescu, general mayor of Bucharest.
The shape of parking place is delimited by the following streets: Regina Elisabeta, Ion Ghica, Academiei and Toma Caragiu having a total surface of 4.716 m ² with technical area of 249 m ². The underground parking will have 3 levels with 2,75m height for each level and a free height of 2,20m. The final surface of the parking will have 400 parking places for cars and 31 parking places for motorcycles.
According to Sorin Oprescu, the total costs for the underground parking construction was €8m.
