8 June 2012

A HUF 1.3bn investment will be carried out in Békéscsaba, in southeast Hungary, after gaining governmental support from the Ministry for National Economy. The project consists of an event and gastronomy park that will be tendered by the Hungarian Economy Ministry, focusing on creating tourist attractions. The multifunctional CsabaPark will be built on 42 hectares and will provide space for several traditional food festivals, including sausage, beer or lecsó festivals. The plan also consists of the construction of a 1,500 sqm event hall for organising festivals and concerts.
