Tensions have risen between the Croatian government and the Hungarian oil company, MOL, over the Croatian oil company, INA. Croatia accused MOL of stifling output of local refineries. Slavko Linic, finance minister of Croatia said that the refineries are working at low capacity, forcing the country to import. MOL has declined to comment the situation. The Croatian government says MOL has full control over INA, though it doesn’t control a majority share. Croatia is planning to redefine the shareholders agreement and change the structure. The finance minister Linic and economy minister Radimir Cacic are aiming to be appointed to INA’s supervisory board.
