H&M opens in Palas Iasi

31 May 2012

Swedish fashion retailer H&M opened its 15th store in Romania in Iasi. The store covers 1,677 sqm and is located in the Palas Iasi shopping mall. The project was developed by Iulius Group which is owned by the Romanian businessman Iulian Dascalu (he also owns shopping malls in Timisoara, Suceava, Cluj and Iasi under the Iulius Mall brand).

Palas Iasi is part of a larger real estate project which required an investment of some €260m. At present, H&M runs 14 stores in Romania, six of which are in Bucharest. The first local H&M store was opened last year in March in AFI Palace Cotroceni.
