A recent survey released by PwC shows that Romanian CEOs are cautious about the evolution of the Romanian economy.
Some 42 percent of them anticipate a period of stagnation for the global economy, while 32 percent anticipate a turn for the worse. On the other hand, Romanian CEOs are more confident about the growth perspectives of their own companies.
Thirty-four percent declared they were ‘very confident’ in their companies’ ability to generate revenue growth, but this was a significant decline from last year’s poll, in which 43 percent professed to such optimism. Fifty-two percent said that that they are ‘somewhat optimistic’.
