Villkász Electricity- and Cable Mounting is building a new factory and will be the first such facility to open in the recently finished industrial park in Devecser. The HUF 327m investment was supported by HUF 97m from the Hungarian government’s New Széchenyi Plan. Operations at the 1,200 sqm greenfield project is set to begin in November and will provide work for 20 people. The new industrial park is built in the same region that was stricken by a wave of toxic red sludge in 2010, making it a high-priority project for the Hungarian government.
