WSE opens higher on Friday

25 May 2012

The WSE opened higher on Friday morning, with the most liquid companies WIG20 index enjoying the biggest interest. The index rose 0.42 percent today, after the fall in stock trades just before yesterday’s closing. Though the PMI index rose sharply yesterday, hit by the news coming from Europe, most of the major global indexes were slightly in the black at the end of a day, in defiance of those who herald the stock markets will collapse. Investors appear not to be interested in selling off shares at any cost, as was previously thought, as the valuation is not too high. They seem to believe European Central Bank would eventually take the steps to pump up the money to the European system.
