Less three weeks before Euro 2012 kick off, many hotel operators are left with free rooms, as most of them have been ramping up prices to unsupportable levels. The problem can be seen in all cities involved in the football championships, and it’s resulted in price drops for rooms. The daily Rzeczpospolita reports that at the moment, a room in a four-star hotel booked for June 10 costs PLN 270m, but costs as much as PLN 600 on the opening day.
