Prologis announced a total of 991,000 sqm of storage and office has been leased through an agreements signed in the first quarter of 2012. The major deal has been conducted with the logistic company Geodis, which took 94,000 sqm of storage and 24,710 sqm of office space at a Prologis facility in France. The second was an agreement with DHL Exel Supply Chain for 33,800 sqm of space in the Polish city of Dąbrowa Górnicza.
Prologis also sold 704,000 sqm of warehouse space over the first three months of the year, and offloaded 271,000 sqm of land. In terms of new acquisitions, it picked up two assets with a total of 32,000 sqm fully-leased warehouse space in Paris and Lyon from CarVal Investors, represented by Constructa Asset Management.
