22 May 2012

The Hungerit poultry farm was handed over in southern Hungary near Szeged by the Rural Development Minister Sándor Fazekas. It represents an investment of HUF 1.5bn and is being seen as a first step in the development of Hungary’s new rural strategy which aims to restore the balance of animal husbandry and plant growing. Many types of supports are available for farmers, as the minister says 228 investments are currently ongoing with a value of HUF 46bn.
