Christopher Mattheisen, an American-Hungarian businessman who is currently Chairman and CEO of the Hungarian telecom company Magyar Telekom, was elected as president of the Joint Venture Association, a business alliance of foreign and domestic investors. The association was originally formed to represent companies with foreign participation, but today many Hungarian companies can be found among the company’s 300 registered members. The ex-president was István Fekete, CEO of Interim Executives Provider Ltd, who held the post for six years. Not only the president, but the complete board was elected as well, with the new members being Ferenc Csuri, CEO of Kludi Ltd, Ágnes Fábián, CEO of Henkel Hungary, Beáta Földváry, CEO of WIFI Hungary, Zsolt Kalocsai, board president of the financial advisory service provider RS DTM and László Urbán, vice CEO of Hungarian Suzuki.
