The so-called garbage architect Michael Reynolds will build a sustainable house in Prague – Troja, in the botanical garden. The project is intended to serve as an example of affordable and sustainable living with zero energy consumption and minimal environmental impact. Reynolds uses beer cans, plastic bottles and tires as construction materials. An exhibition Reynold’s projects was just launched in the Galerie Jaroslava Fragnera in Prague. The City of Prague asked the architect to build the project, but final approval will depend on whether the City council approves the investment from its 2012 budget.
