Jaap Gillis MBA FRICS will take up the position of CEO of Bouwfonds REIM and also membership of the Board of Directors of Rabo Real Estate Group on 1 August 2012. Gillis will succeed Jean Klijnen.
As CEO of Bouwfonds REIM, Jaap Gillis will provide a new dynamic for the further profiling and professionalization of the business. Gillis has a lot of experience in the real estate sector and this combination of real estate-related knowledge and management qualities makes him the right man to lead Bouwfonds REIM through the coming years.
Until 1 April 2012, Jaap Gillis was COO of Redevco. He previously held different management positions at AM (Amstelland/MDC), ING Real Estate and other companies.
Gillis’ appointment is subject to assessment by the external supervisors.
