Prime Minister Victor Ponta decided that Victor Alistar not to join the ministers that will be proposed to the Parliament. Victor Alistar was initially proposed Minister Delegate for Government and Civil Society Relations.
Alistar’s nomination was criticized by the opposition party PDL’s spokesman, Sever Voinescu, but also by the press.
Victor Ponta said that in the current situation, it was pointless to create unneeded animosity and threaten government investments.
Alistar was alleged to have been involved in various scandals in the past and had been investigated as a result.
