University labs under construction in Zlin

27 April 2012

Construction of a new laboratory center at the Tomáš Baťa University in Zlín has begun. The laboratory complex will be fully kitted out with new equipment and is expected to cost the university CZK 600m. It’s replacing a dilapidated swimming pool built from the last century and an outdoor markeplace. The new center, intended to be used by students of the university’s Faculty of Technology, is scheduled for completion in two years. CZK 500 m of the total investment will be financed from EU funds, with the state picking up the rest of the bill.
