Delta Center considers suing Prague
Delta Center wants to sue the City of Prague because of the termination of a lease contract under which the company was leasing the Pražská tržnice in Holešovice. The city claims that Delta Center owes the city CZK 147m, a point disputed by Delta, which argues that it’s invested heavily in the area. The director pf Delta Center Doron Maoz told the economic server e15, that the company had planned a CZK 1bn revitalization of the Holešovice market place. However, once the former deputy mayor Milan Richter got involved in the negotiations, the city suddenly decided to terminate the lease. Delta Center suspects another developer– Prominecon (formerly Navatyp), which it claims has ties to the city, is behind this sudden change, as it owns the neighboring plot.
