City Hall building gets RON 22m in earthquake protection

Works to mitigate seismic risk at Bucharest’s Sector 1 City Hall building was completed, after an investment of almost RON 22 m, according to the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism (MDRT).
The project was funded with a loan from the World Bank and co-financed by the Romanian government.
The loan from World Bank was roughly RON 11.9 m (54.82 percent) and budget allocation from the Ministry of Administration and Interior is about RON 9.8 m (45.18 percent).
City Hall has a total area of ​​over 7,000 sqm.
